Tom Hollis Fire Chief __________________ First Responder Tom is the First Fire Chief for the Yahk Kingsgate Volunteer Fire Department; previously a subscription FD with Hall mountain Idaho. We also have a Mutual Aid Agreement in place to work along side our USA counterparts.

Bill Whitehouse _________________ Deputy Chief, Training Officer, First Responder & Red Cross Certified Instructor Immigrated from the UK in 1993 after serving 23 yrs in the UK Military. Bill joined Hall Mountain Volunteer Fire Department in 1999 as a Firefighter and became Captain & Training Officer with YKVFD when it became part of the Regional fire Service in 2006. He became a First Responder in 2012 and qualified as a Red Cross Instructor in September 2012. Hobbies: Target Shooting and Playing Guitar.

Lawrence Whyte _________________ Lieutenant: Firefighter & First Responder Lawrence has had previous experience in the ranks of Alberta Fire Departments. He was also Fire Chief in Alberta for

Doug Knight _________________ Firefighter 1 CPR/ AED level hcp Experience: Department as a junior from 1960-62. The Firehall was adjacent to where he lived. He thought it would be interesting however it was very archaic to what we have now. A hard hat, axe and rubber boots was the extent of the equipment. He moved to Yahk in 1989 from Creston BC. Where he joined the Yahk Kingsgate Fire Department in 2004. Doug believe in community service dedicated to help people to live healthier through lifestyle management. Hobbies: Bees, Gardening, Moth & Butterfly Collection.
